An exceptional 10 leaves screen in Coromandel lacquer and gold lacquer with the famous "Hundred birds" motive, decorated on both sides in a continuous scene with a profusion of couples of birds, including phoenixes, pheasants, cranes, parrots, quails. The borders are decorated with precious objects and vases of flowers.
Reassembled on modern hinges and in a rare condition of preservation, the colors having retained their original freshness. Reign of Kangxi (1662-1722). One leaf : 37,5 cm x 189 cm
