The pommel and the guard are decorated with a chiseled decoration of zoomorphic and vegetal motives realized according to the technique of the bronze cast with lost wax. The quillons show two heads of hunting dogs, the cruise has on one side a boar's head and on the other a stag's head. The pommel is composed of friezes of foliage.
The ivory fuse is fluted.
The steelpoli blade is straight, finished in point, with double edge and animated by two gutters.

The scabbard is made of wood and covered with black leather on the middle part. The cap and the bolt are decorated with gilded bronze trimmings. The bouterolle is incised with an arrow on one side and a set composed of a quiver, a bow, a halberd and a snake on the other. It is mounted on a morocco shoulder strap covered with silver thread, edged with red braids, and held by a gilded bronze button representing a wolf's head.
