Single-action, percussion, six-chambered fluted cylinder, rifled mirror barrel, manual revolver.
Solid ivory stock plates and stock ring.
Trigger guard, hammer and trigger tail are all jazzed up.

The barrel opens by means of a winged hinge allowing its tilting and thus the loading of the cylinder. The sight is in half-moon, with foliage decoration.
It is entirely covered with a decoration of foliated scrolls included in registers, damascened with gold. The finishes are on a 95% blue background. The upper part of the barrel has a calligraphic cartouche in Arabic that mentions Sultan Abdülhamid II (born in 1842 and died in 1918) and the dates of his reign as Caliph of Islam: 1876 and 1809.
