Anatole VELY, portrait and genre painter, born in Ronsoy (Somme) on 20 February 1838, died in Paris on 10 January 1882. French school.
Pupil of the Academy of Valenciennes and E. Signol at the School of Fine Arts. He was a member of the Salon from 1866 to 1880, and was awarded a 3rd class medal in 1874 and a 2nd class medal in 1880.
