Violin-shaped, it rests on four claw feet in chiseled and gilded bronze.
The dial, made of pewter and gilded copper engraved with intertwined foliage in the center, has Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes.
Movement signed Le Doux à Paris on the backplate.
