Bust of an oriental woman adorned with a succession of pearl necklaces, coin necklaces with an inscription in pseudo-Arabic and the last in Cories and coral.
She is dressed in a vest adorned with buttons and topped with a veil, crowned with a tiara.
The one-piece plinth has a pseudo-Arabic inscription.
On the left is the signature of Le Guluche and dated 1896. On the back, the signature of the Alphonse Hanne factory is numbered 313.

Joseph Le Guluche (1849 -1915)
Joseph le Guluche is a French sculptor, specialized in terracotta. He worked with the Alphonse Hanne factory, the largest terracotta factory in the city of Isle-Adam in the 19th century.
Currently, a large part of Le Guluche's works are kept at the Musée de L’Isle-Adam.
