A rare bowl on foot or ‘fruttiera’ decorated with blue threads. The foot has vertical ribs, the bowl is made in the so-called ‘mezza stampaura' technique - a term applied to the process of making vertical ribs on the lower part of a blown glass object by gathering additional glass on the parison and inflating it further in a dip mold - and is diagonally ribbed until half way.
