A large Ge-type glaze vase, Yongzheng/Qianlong period

A large Ge-yao type (double black and golden crakle) on a greenish grey glaze ground vase, with salamander qilong shaped handles, the base left unglazed, late Yongzheng to early Qianlong period circa 1730/1740.

For a similar vase described as a "baluster vase with lizard-shaped handles" and given from the Kangxi period (1662-1722) see the collections of the Sèvres Museums, Inventory Number MNC405-1.
