Pair of "Bergères" in cabriolet, Louis XV period

Height 100cm Width 75cm Depth 74cm (51cm at the seat)

Beautiful pair of "Bergères" in cabriolet, in molded and sculpted natural beech, decorated with flowers and foliage scrolls. Perfectly balanced, the curves are vigorous and the molding deep. With a compact proportions, they offer great comfort and perfect back support.

The curves of the armrests are short and round; at the front, the end of the feet are perfectly plumb with the outer curve; at the back, the feet go elegantly outwards: This is definitely a Parisian work by an important master carpenter specialized in seats. They are in a very good state of preservation.

These "bergères" have been the object of a complete restoration, woodwork and tapestry, and are covered with a Rubelli fabric.
