A small panel depicting the Adoration of the Magi or Adoration of the Kings whereby the three Magi - represented as kings - having found Jesus by following a star, lay before him gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh and worship him. To the right, a soldier with helmet and spear is overlooking the scene.
Walnut, carved in relief with the original polychrome paint and gilding, partly decorated with the sgraffito technique.
On the back there is part of an inscription and inventory number written in ink.
Hispano-Flamenco. 1st half of the 16th century.
