An important and elongate form of this Inro, lacquered with a dream of Rosei, the hero shown reclining on a chinese bench beneath a tree, holding a fan over his face, his right elbow propped on a pillow, in gold and coloured takamaki-e, the fan of inlaid aogai. The reverse shows his dream of being carried in a procession, in gold togidashi and e-nashiji with details of kirikane, the interior of nashiji. Signed Koma Koryu under the base. Length : 9,5 cm.
