A gilt-bronze mounted white marble mantel clock
Louis XVI period, end of the 18th century
The dial signed "De Belle" inscribed in a bollard adorned with foliage, flowers, pearls and laurel tori, flanked by Cupid on a cloud begging Venus to return her bow, resting on a base decorated with arabesque foliage, palmettes and putti winged, terminated by six-foot balls.
Good general condition, movement sold without guarantee.
