Bears the signature of Ernest GAZAN (1895-1979) on the base, and the mark of the manufacture of Villenauxe.
We know little about this artist, except for bronzes sold in 1991 and 2011. He collaborated with Demeter Chiparus for "a Serenade by Pierrot" of 1930, of which a bronze made 9500 euros in 2013.
Villenauxe was an important factory created in 1856. It employed up to 180 people in the 60s.
Accident during the firing on the left hand will be restored by our workshops.
