A Tea bowl (chawan). Rinpa school. A Kenzan style stoneware teabowl. A lustrous brown glaze with a white moon inside and polychrome lotus flowers on a beige ground. Inscribed Kenzan under the base. After the death of the master Kenzan, several generations of potters used his name. Diameter : 13,3 cm. Japan Edo (1603-1868) 19th century.
