MOUSTIERS earthenware plate, circular shape with polylobed edge. Decor in polychromy and in full fire, green, yellow, blue and manganese called "to the grotesques". On the basin four verdant and leafy terraces surrounded by insects, butterflies and a snail, comprising: Two birds, an Indian holding a bow and an arrow and a young woman wearing her headdress also holding an arrow. On the wing, three flower and leafy mounds, interspersed with leafy stems. Green and blue nets on the edge, including one in wolf teeth.
Period: Mid 18th century.
Very good general condition, small chips on the edge, no restoration.
