My father Alphonse de Burgat had been for several years aide-de-camp to Mr Lt General de Jumilhac his father commanding the 16th military division in Lille, he had assisted him in his last moments and delivered a speech on his grave, his son given his portrait in recognition of his dedication to his father Lt General "
