Pair of 18th century candelabras composed of a white marble vase on a high foot and three tulip and poppy -shaped branches. The sides of each vase are adorned with two gilt bronze roosters holding drops in their beaks. The roosters’ plumage transforms into acanthus leaves which trail down to the base, which is decorated with gadroons, laurel, and acanthus leaves. Two rich, ormolu, flowering garlands adorn the paunch. The set rests on a square marble base which is decorated with intertwining flowers and a row of beads, and it is supported by four toupie feet.
