Pair of wall lamps with cornucopias, Paris, Louis XVI
Beautiful pair of finely chiseled and gilded bronze wall lights with two sconces.
Two ribbons tied together and forming a knot hold a cornucopia from which springs a bouquet of exploded pomegranates, bunches of grapes, oak leaves as well as two twisted cords decorated with trimmings tassels.
The barrel finished with a leaf base.
The two sconces spring from an acanthus leaf and support the cups and bobeches finely decorated with leaves and striped friezes.
Good condition, original gilding (small wear)
French work from the beginning of the Louis XVI period around 1780.
