Alfred Renoleau - Majolica Round enameled ceramic dish with eel

Very nice round dish presenting: eel, fish and crayfish on a background of pond and ferns.

Produced by Renoleau for the Polakowski factory (A Polakowski et Cie Roumaziere, factory).

1888: Renoleau entered the service of the factory and on 25 November was awarded the 1st class gold medal and out of competition in London.

Gold medal at the 1889 World's Fair and silver medal for A. Renoleau
