Rare Sèvres porcelain cup and saucer, tortoiseshell ground, Consulat period

The cup of unknown shape, with a tortoiseshell ground edged with gold foliage, decorated with a nankin ground drape motif ornate with an attribut decoration on the saucer.
Good condition.
Sèvres national factory, 1801-1802.
Marked in red Sèvres X for the year 10 of the Republic (September 1801 to September 1802).
H. 7.9 x D. 13.8 cm.

Provenance
The decoration is close to two services :
- the first one described as " fond écaille arabesque" was delivered to the British Foreign Secretary Lord Liverpool, on December 1st, 1802, but it does not include cups and saucers. Much of Lord Liverpool's service is today kept in the National Trust collection at Lyme Park, Cheshire. A juice jar was sold at Piasa, Paris, December 4, 2009, lot 127 (See Napoleon I and Sèvres, p. 249, n ° 25).
- the second one described "figurines à fond écaille" was delivered on 4 and 5 December 1804 to Napoleon for the Tuileries, but it does not include cups and saucers either. Some pieces of this service are now preserved in Fontainebleau (see Napoleon I and Sèvres, p. 256, n ° 54).
