Solid silver teapot mounted on four chiseled legs, the pot-bellied body is decorated with a large frieze of interlacing and mascarons, the ogee lid edged with a row of pearls is surmounted by a pinecone-shaped socket on a small leafy terrace.
the ivory handle is entirely carved and represents a fantastic animal swallowing a snake.
