Circular gold and enamelled box. The independent lid decorated with a guilloche in parallel and concentric streaks. This pattern is highlighted by small pink and translucent enamelled panels alternating with green enamel flower patterns. The quality of the enamel, its color varying between brown and carmine against a background of slightly opalescent pink enamel is not unlike the imitations of the herborised agate popular in the mid-18th century. The pack and the bottom have the same decorations.
