"The Pink Gazelle" Vase. Adrien Leduc for the Sevres Manufactory. Superb Art Deco porcelain vase painted by and after the decor project of the French painter Adrien Leduc.
France, Sèvres. Signed, marked and dated 1940.
This vase with its form, its superb and delicate hues and its "pâte-sur-pâte" decor is very characteristic of the second period of the Art Deco and of the very poetic style of the French painter Adrien Leduc (a. 1919-1954). Handmade and hand painted, each piece of the Sevres Manufactory is unique.
