Louis XIV chest of drawers with three rows of drawers, in walnut veneer.
The tray is surrounded by an ingot mold. It has a decoration of geometric mptifs with "tone on tone" threads.
There is a winding console on each front upright as well as brass grooves.
The drawers are mounted with rebates (the sides cover the bottom) which is typical of the Ax workshop. This process avoided wear by allowing the drawer to slide over the entire surface of the bottom and not on the edge.
There is a jump at the back. This model can be attributed to Thomas Hache (November 28, 1664 - May 13, 1747)
