Large pair of reliquary boxes on their consoles, in bronze and silver plated copper, and amethyst inclusions, executed by the goldsmith Henri Edmond LESAGE (1859-1928); Circa 1890.
There is an important inventory of his religious art works such as the Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Montmartre and Notre-Dame de Paris.
cf. Bernard Berthod "dictionary of liturgical arts", Paris, 1996.
An exceptional ensemble.
Some glass panes to be changed, very few lacks of roses on the edge of the consoles.
