Rare carved walnut-wood high-relief depicting Santiago de Compostela in 'Matamore*'.
He is riding his horse with a sword in his right hand, wearing his pilgrim's hat on which three scallop-shells are hung, and is launching an attack on the Moors.
His horse is depicting reared-up, following the allied troops of King Ramire Ist.
On the background, we can make out the castle of Clavijo.
