Presumed portrait of Madame du Barry, oil on canvas, 46 cm x 37 cm, with the frame: 61 cm x 42 cm, Louis XV period.
She wears a pearl necklace on her chest, a rose placed near her uncovered throat, her head tilts on her right arm, a star above her headdress.
She holds around her right arm a wreath of roses, sliding over her uncovered breast, like the one representing the Countess du Barry in her famous portrait by François-Henri Drouais, then again in that of Elisabeth Vigée-Lebrun. The blue star above the head is inspired by the portrait known as "Point du jour" of the Duchess of Châteauroux, another favorite of Louis XV.
