"The Wine" Vase. Auguste Berlin for the Sevres Manufactory. Superb Art Deco porcelain vase painted after the decor project of the Polish painter Dora Bianka.

This vase with its form and soft and delicate hues is very characteristic of the second period of the Art Deco and of the style of the Polish painter Dora Bianka (1895-1979). Handmade and hand painted, each piece of the Sevres Manufactory is unique.
Provenance : Collection of the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres until the 1990’s; Private Collection, Paris acquired directly from the Manufacture.

Note: Dora Kucenbianka aka Dora Bianka, born in Warsaw and died in Le Chesnay (France), is a Polish painter and illustrator who worked for the Manufacture from 1934 to 1937.
