A bronze mirror cast in relief featuring two ducks, a pelican and an unidentified bird amongst scrolling foliage, around a central raised and pierced knob handle. This type of mirror was often wrapped for burial.
The mirror has a built-up encrusted patina which varies in color from green to red and orange to black, with traces of corrosion and cuprite.
