Decorated in iro-e takamaki-e, togidashi and kirikane on a ro-iro nuri black lacquer ground with two figures sitting before a farmhouse near a stream, pines and apple trees. The ojime represents an iron bead with incised silver hira zogan blossoming plum branches. A lacquer manju decorated with a hiramaki-e peony flower completes this set. Manju and inro are both signed Kajikawa saku with a red lacquer pot-shaped seal.
