In the Gothic style, the Virgin standing, carrying the Child seated on her left arm, the hair with long wavy locks falling on the bust, covered with a tunic with a rounded neckline and a cloak returning in pleated V-shaped sides on the front, looks at her child, dressed in a long tunic covering his feet, the right hand placed tenderly on the throat of his mother.
This Virgin is representative of the Popular Art models of the chapels of the Allier castle, she is very charming by the rendering of the exchange of glances, expression of the mother-child bond.
