Hermaic pillar top

This head represents the bearded god Hermes, with prominent features, particularly at the level of the cheekbones.
Her wavy hair is pulled back and a strand runs down the back of the god's neck.
Hermaic pillars were widespread sculptures, Hermes notably being the patron god of crossroads.
