Broked fan painted with martin varnish relating a deer hunting scene

Louis xv, young, great amateur of hunting, is represented here with his court, in a lively landscape, and in the foreground is probably Mme de Pompadour, riding an Amazon and dressed in a blue costume, (one of his favorite colors )


On the throat of the fan, a portrait of Diane Chasseresse is represented there surrounded by two dogs, bow and bow and arrows

on the main strands are decorated with a deer head surmounting a lily flower.

On the reverse, a stag blaring on the edge of a wood
