Landscape with travelers - - Tommaso Porta (1686 ou 1689 - 1768)

30, 1768) Verona late '600 beginning' 700 Oil on canvas cm. 92 X 71 Pupil of Pieter Mulier known as Tempesta (1637-1701), Tommaso Porta, also known as Brescia, was a prominent representative of 18th century Venetian landscape painting. In the footsteps, like Giuseppe Zais and Sebastiano Ricci, he painted Arcadian landscapes, in bright colors, lingering on details such as turret farms, herds accompanied by shepherds and shepherds and travelers, villages and buildings elders, peasants parked on the banks of a lake, bridges launched across small rivers, against the blue background of the Pre-Alps. He designed thickets, with men chasing bears or having fun playing ball.
