Portrait of King Charles X
Oval miniature painted on ivory, inspired by the portrait of François Gérard of 1825 and by the official miniatures of Daniel Saint, representing him in a three-quarter bust on the right, in uniform wearing the Order of the Holy Spirit, the Order of Saint-Louis, the Legion of Honour and the Lily, on a brown background.
Preserved in a beautiful wood and ebony veneer and gilt bronze frame, oval view in guilloché gilt brass (one crack).
