18th century fan - fairground

The Age of Enlightenment, the fair was a place for walking along the stalls, meeting and entertainment. This fan, the leaf painted on gouache skin is a representation of a day out in the 18th century.

On the left a gentleman accompanied by 4 young women seems to be negotiating soon for a purchase; further on, a couple of walkers, two young men, and a young boy pulling a string.
connected to a balloon in the shape of a hot air balloon.
In the center, a family lingers to admire the show of a trainer of 3 dogs trained and dressed as men by metamorphosing them into human pantomines to the sound of the flute and the movements of their master's wand.
On the right, a young woman buys treats for a small child from a vendor wandering through the different spaces of the fair.,
and two friends greet each other and meet again with pleasure.

On the reverse: Couple of characters in a country setting.

Mount called "Pompadour" in ivory in alternating strands, carved, engraved with the application of gold leaf and stitched with colored pastilles
France 1785- Good condition some uses
