Avccording to Guyot de Fère Elisabeth Pfenninger (Zurich, 1772 – Paris, 1847) worked on 5th rue de Grétry in Paris in 1834-1838, the address given at the back of the miniature. Pupil of Regnault and JBJ Augustin, she exhibited at the Paris Salon 1810-1837, and at the Berne exhibition 1818-1824.
Condition: good; very tiny hairline vertical on the right edge (0,5 cm)
