Faience production of the late 18th century was characterized by the boom of industrialized units that followed the French productive model. During most of the 19th century these units suffered with the Napoleonic Invasions as well as the Liberal Wars which shut down many of them. During the 2nd half of the 19th century a resurgence of faience production was observed.
