Pair of large blue green Medici earthenware vases with acanthus leaves, decorated on all four sides with masks surrounded by foliage and garlands of purple flowers. The whole is highlighted with gilt giving more depth to the whole. Beautiful effect of marble in the glaze, probably made in Lunéville, in the east of France, in the manufacture of Saint Lambert, which imitated models of the time Louis XIV.
France, circa 1890.
Small restored chips at the base of the pedestal.
