An important "albarello" or pharmacy jar in polychrome maiolica with a large grotesque mask to the front wearing an "Indian" style crown of foliage, the head being supported by a ribbon which is attached with knots to either side of the crown. The rest of body of the albarello is covered with a typical floral and foliage design.

Condition: in good condition with normal traces of age and use, but without repairs or restorations.
