Large pair of cabriolet armchairs, in carved and molded beech, from the 18th century.
The files with deep moldings, the belt, and the top of the feet are decorated with open flowers and foliage.
The eventful armrests are trimmed with cuffs.
These armchairs have a broad seat resting on feet with graceful curves.
They bear the stamp OTHON of the carpenter in seats Pierre Othon received Master on January 8, 1760.

Carpenter in seats, Pierre Othon was received master in 1760 and settled in rue des Vieux-Augustins in Paris until 1785.
Its production, Louis XV and Louis XVI style, treated with care, is elegant, of sober and classic line, in finely carved wood of flowers, palm leaves and acanthus leaves.
Pierre Othon's stamp does not bear the initial of the first name.
He left his mark on carefully treated seats, in a sober and graceful style.
