Exceptional small table in rosewood, violet wood and lemon tree burl. Model curved on the front and on the sides. Belts, feet and top veneered in rosewood in quad-leaf delimited by borders in violet wood. The removable upper part intended for bedridden people is surrounded by a bronze ingot mold and rests on four small feet. It has three flaps, two of oval shapes on the sides revealing compartments for boxes and bottles and a central adjustable in height acting as a reading desk. The belt discovers a small drawer and above, a removable swivel zipper decorated on one side with golden leather with small irons and on the other with its original mercury mirror. The table below has a large side drawer and a large built-in removable writing tablet.
Stamp under the edge of the drawer of the top CC Saunier for Claude Charles Saunier received master on July 31, 1752 and hallmark of the jurande of master cabinetmakers JME.
