This chest of drawers veneered with walnut rosewood and exotic woods, with a walnut interior, measures 120 x 90 x 58 cm, was built towards the end of the 18th century.
In perfect state of preservation, both the structural and decorative elegance typical of the Lombard Louis XVI style can be easily seen. The legs frontally and laterally are decorated with "candelabra".
The die is only designed with a square pattern that encloses a flower. The front and side edges are highlighted by candelabras.
The chest of drawers is divided into 4 drawers, two large and two small on top and the decoration emphasizes the subdivision. In a succession of concentric frames, created on purpose, a very similar floral motif develops in the extended mirroring that almost frame the absolute protagonist of the drawers: the chiaroscuro play of the woods used. The decoration present in this chest of drawers is the classic one of a single phytomorphic motif also present in the upper floor, interrupted only by patches and handles.
In this chest of drawers the main and most demanding inlay is found on the sides with a medallion, made of lighter wood, with a concentric rosette rosette; occupies the main scene leaving all around itself the space for a game of wood that creates an enveloping movement capable of giving elegance and balance to the building. A decorative motif that is also found in the space on the top, also wrapped in a play of important woods and a floral motif in support.
