"BERINGER" type sundial made by David Beringer.
It looks like a 5-sided wooden cube fixed on a rectangular plate.
Each side has a brass gnomon set in the wood for the latitude of 51 ° N (city of Dresden). The magnetic declination is marked for 20 ° West corresponding to a date close to 1770. A ball joint fixed in the foot allows to adjust the inclination of the dial.
Reference: 2 models similar to the Greenwich Museum (inv. AST0385 and 380).
