Entirely black lacquered (ro-iro) with, on all sides, the coat of arms (Mon) "Go-san no kiri" Kiri (paulownia) flower by Matsu Daira and Aoï go mon (three purple leaves) from the Tokugawa dynasty. The interior reveals, behind a flap on the front, 5 drawers each comprising 3 compartments dressed in purple silk allowing the presentation of the inro and the netsuke. The drawer handles also use the kiri flower.
This cabinet could be suitable for a jewelry box.
All the fittings are in finely chiseled silvered metal.
