A fine pair of French flintlock chest pistols, Queen Ann type and numbered 1 and 2.
Around 1760 - 1780
Forced ball round barrel signed under the "CRAMON à BORDEAUX" thunderbolts
Chests engraved with trophies of arms, foliage and friezes.
Dogs engraved with a marine animal.
Returning triggers, engraved with three laurel wreaths.
Safety by buttons on the breech tails.
Engine-turned screws.
Walnut stocks decorated with inlaid silver threads and thumb pieces.
Silver knobs carved with eagle heads, with rings.
Total length 30,5cm
Length of the barrels 12,7.
Very good state of conservation and mechanical.
Cramon in Bordeaux, arquebusier from 1766 to 1786. Master in 1766
