Fused and gilded bronze. Revolutionary era.
It depicts the Republic standing holding a beam of lictor with one hand and a spear with a Phrygian cap at the end.
In the background, the altar of the homeland with an engraved column Liberty and Equality, two crossed flags, one oak leaf and one laurel leaf. The bottom is sandblasted.
A beaded border surrounds this allegory.
The back is smooth and has four bridges.

The Corps of People's Representatives to the Armed Forces was created in the First Republic on April 9, 1793. Mention is made of sixty fierce representatives of the people, successively sent by the eleven armed forces of the Republic, some of whom showed great talent and ardent patriotism (...) E.
