This charming Louis XVI period glazed mirror has a rich decoration, largely openwork, including a vegetable garland running over the entire frame and ending in ribbons. The frame is surmounted by a large pediment decorated with a fire pot crowned by a knot, inclined forward, characteristic of ornaments of the decorative arts under Louis XVI.
The gilding and the mercury mirror bevelled mirror are original.
