Pair of belt pistols with "the miquelet" (Spain 18th century)
The barrels, have long sides with thunder then round, and cut and chiselled in bead on the middle. They are inscribed with the gunner's mark in a cartridge under the crown.
The plates of the "miquelet" system are engraved with foliage.
The cut brass fittings are engraved with rockeries and fleurons and are enriched with medallions with a grotesque face.
The frames are equipped with belt hooks (one welded)
The woods are made of walnut with a piece of horn at the mouth.
Wooden sticks, one of which carries a cartridge with a cross.
Pair most probably made in Ripoll around 1780.
Very good state of conservation. Perfect functioning of the turntables.
