An important testimony to the Burgundian decorative arts of the early 17th century, this extremely rare gilded and sculpted wooden mirror is distinguished by its large dimensions.
Its relief decoration is also interesting. Indeed, in addition to the profusion of plant motifs confusing vines, grapes and other foliage, there are also some animal figures, such as birds and snakes. Another particularity to note is the delicacy of the openwork vine branches.
